Celestial Bodies was a project that was initially created to level up my texturing skills in Octane.
I'm been meaning to explore a lot of the nodes I've never touched and ended up with this experiment based on absorption and dispersion.
I initially planned for this series to be animated, but it turns out that absorption, dispersion, bump textures and rough reflections add a lot to the render time, and since Nvidia haven't graced us lowly Australians with stock of the RTX 3090 yet, that idea will have to wait.
