I've been having a lot of fun messing with iridescence in my last few projects.
The main inspiration for this piece was Rus Khasanov's Aurora project.
I've always been fascinated by his ability to manipulate real fluids and chemicals to create mind blowing visuals. Unfortunately, I don't have the space or ability to experiment in this style, nor do I even own a camera, so this is my CG take on the style.
Overall, I'm very happy with the coloring, there are some parts where the geo is a bit weird, but hopefully with more work, I can figure out the kinks.
I'd like to take a quick moment to thank everybody for the support over the year. 2019 was a rough one, but all of your positive comments have allowed me to at least feel proud of myself despite the low points.
